Terms of Service

Customers of North Country Media, Inc. (NCM), are bound to this terms of service. Please read carefully.

NCM reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. While NCM makes every effort to provide the most professional service possible, loss of business resulting from services provided by NCM (including web site downtime, or other technical failure) is the responsibility of the customer, with no exceptions.

All artwork designed by NCM, once paid for by the customer, is the property of the customer. Domains registered by NCM on behalf of the customer are the property of the customer.

Quotations provided by NCM will be honored until date valid for. Exceptions may be made to the quotation in which project specifications are changed by the customer. If additional costs of the quote are incurred due to specification changes by the customer, the customer will be notified prior to charges incurred.

NCM reserves the right to request clients pay 50% of quoted price of project prior to work completed.

Web hosting fees charged incurred after the month of service provided.

30 days notice must be given on cancellation of services with NCM. During the cancellation of service, should customer require NCM to provide backups of materials, transfer of service, or information to access customer owned services (domain registrations, web hosting, etc), NCM will bill the customer for cost of time and materials incurred. Time will be billed at the current billable rate for said services. Minimum cancellation charge is 0.5 hours at the basic Website Design rate.  Final payment must be received before final closure of account.

Basic Website Design - $40 / hour (minimum 1/2 hour time blocks).

NCM provides no refunds for services provided. NCM provides samples of work prior to being hired by the customer and expects the customer to deal in good faith based on these samples.

All accounts with NCM must be settled within 15 days of the invoice date. Accounts overdue are subject to 1.5% per month interest rate, with a minimum late fee of $5.00. Accounts past 90 days will see their services suspended. Customers which have accounts past 90 days due, and have websites registered or renewed by NCM, will forfeit ownership of their domain registration property until their account brought fully up to date.
